Frequent sync issues with certain supplier accounts. Some of my accounts have not been able to sync for the past 4 months and I’m still waiting on support team to fix. Scanning and storing of receipts, statements, and invoices and an auto-push into QuickBooks Online… https://business-accounting.net/what-are-consumer-packaged-goods-cpg-robinhood/ There are a couple of minor issues that are not even worth mentioning here. Please note that I don’t use the software to directly link with websites, since the selection is fairly limited. Great bit of software that is easy to use and easy to teach clients how to use.

  • To see a list of software packages that can integrate with Hubdoc, read this article2.
  • Notes added by the client attached to bills is also very useful.

HubDoc Pros & Cons

HubDoc stands as an epitome of effective document management, with unique features such as optical character recognition (OCR) which ensures accurate data capture from documents. The software also offers an easy integration with accounting tools like QuickBooks, Xero, and Bill.com. These integrations streamline the invoicing and accounts management processes contributing to efficient office practices. It works seamlessly with email and with multiple vendors. It has been very easy to add new vendors we work with as well as setup ways for us to automate a lot of invoices we receive. Now I can easily go in and quickly find documents that I used to worry about where they were located or how I would find them.

It’s so frustration because at the end you need to download the invoice and do it yourself because the app won’t allow to push your invoice if it thinks the sale taxes don’t match. This is highly frustrating because in the end you are better to not use the software. We originally set up this service to manage our financial documents linked to Quickbooks.

When you start your Hubdoc account, you will be given a special Hubdoc email address for this purpose. All you need to do is in the To field, enter your Hubdoc email address, attach the document and send it. Bank fetch never works, and now they are discontinuing it.

The new interface is nice, it’s less buggy and runs slightly faster. You can also check out my review of Freshbooks, which is another accounting software company.
